What a photographer, what a guy! Nick was a genuine delight as the photographer for our wedding in September 2021. In the lead up we had an engagement shoot where Nick’s calm and knowledgeable manner put us completely at ease. We knew he’d be great on the actual day and he didn’t disappoint. He was everywhere he needed to be to capture special moments without us even noticing and when it came to organising our group photos, he had the perfect balance of authority and politeness. The photos were wonderful, both Shane and Nick got the most out of our venues (church ceremony followed by the breakfast and reception at a golf club) and have given us a priceless keepsake. Nick is warm and friendly and put us at ease, as at first we were both a little bit awkward about being the focus of a shoot. The photos are a testament to this. We said we liked candid photos, but wanted some staged ones of the wedding party etc and the mix we received was perfect. He also was very open to our suggestions and questions. He was also extremely understanding of a couple of issues at the reception and helped us out, going above and beyond what we would have expected. Elemental Architecture
We had finished this project a couple of years ago and had photos taken which we thought had mainly missed the point of what we had designed and built.
As soon as he entered the building Nick had an innate understanding of the spaces, form and light, and in discussion with us knew how we saw our work and the right shots to take to embody this.
We were delighted with the final photos and believe they have truly captured the essence of our work.
It was refreshing to work with a photographer who listened, and who also knew instinctively the right shots to take, with the technical knowledge to back this up. Great work, thanks!.
